The composition and appearance of metal strip seal
A typical iron sheet seal mainly consists of two parts:
Seal (iron strip) : A long, flat, and flexible steel strip, usually made of quenched and hardened steel. The edges of steel bands often have sawteeth or holes to enhance the locking effect.
Lock head: A rectangular or cylindrical metal housing that contains a lock core mechanism inside. The end of the seal will be inserted into this lock to lock it. The lock head will also be made of ABS material.
Working principle
Its operation is simple and irreversible:
Threading in: Pass the flexible iron sheet tape through the lock rod holes on the container door.
Insertion: Insert the free end of the iron band into the lock.
Locking: When the iron band is inserted into the lock head, the internal locking mechanism (usually a spring clip or barb structure) will immediately clamp the sawtooth of the iron band to prevent it from being pulled out.
Pressing: Use a specialized tool (such as a vise or a presser) to press the lock head tightly and permanently fix it on the iron sheet. At this point, the sealing is completed.
To open it, heavy-duty scissors, hydraulic pliers or an Angle grinder must be used to cut the iron sheet. This destructive demolition method is precisely the key to its tamper-proof evidence.

4.Durability: The all-metal structure can withstand the harsh environments of long-distance sea and land transportation, including the erosion of salt water, rain and dust.
Compliance with standards: Generally, it meets or exceeds the security standards set by international organizations such as ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and C-TPAT (Customs-Commerce Anti-Terrorism Alliance).
